6. Balloons That Have Already Been Inflated or Prepared
Balloons are sensitive products whose appearance and performance may change after inflation due to temperature, sunlight, humidity, air pressure, handling and the passage of time.
A balloon that has already been inflated, personalised or incorporated into an arrangement may also be unsuitable for resale.
However, whether a statutory right of withdrawal exists depends on the particular product and the legal exception applicable to it.
We therefore do not rely on a blanket rule that “all balloons are non-returnable”.
Where a product was personalised or made specifically for the customer, the custom-made/personalised goods exception described above may apply.
