What information should I send when requesting a quote?
The most useful information is your event date, location, type of event, approximate number of guests, desired style, budget range and any inspiration images you have.
I don’t know exactly what I want. Can you help?
Absolutely. Many clients come to us with just an occasion, location and general feeling they want to create. We can help turn that into a complete concept.
Do you speak English?
Yes. You can contact us in English.
Can I send you inspiration from Pinterest or Instagram?
Of course. Moodboards, screenshots, colours and reference images are all useful when discussing your project.
How can I contact The Balloon?
You can contact us through the available channels listed on our Contact Us page. For larger events, weddings and corporate projects, please include the date and location in your first message.
How do I place an order?
You can place an order directly through our website or contact us for a custom request. For personalised decorations, events, weddings, and corporate projects, we recommend contacting us in advance so we can discuss your ideas, location, timing, and budget.
How far in advance should I place my order?
For standard balloon orders, we recommend ordering at least 2–3 days in advance. For custom decorations and larger installations, 1–2 weeks is preferable. Weddings, corporate events, and full event organisation should ideally be booked several weeks or months in advance.
Can I place a last-minute order?
Yes. We often accommodate last-minute requests depending on availability, production capacity, and delivery schedule. Contact us and we will let you know what is possible.
What payment methods do you accept?
Available payment methods depend on the type of order. Payment details and any required deposit will be confirmed when your order or event is finalised.
Do you require a deposit for events?
For larger decorations, weddings, corporate events, and event organisation, a deposit may be required to secure the date and begin preparations. The amount and payment schedule are agreed individually.
Can businesses receive an invoice?
Yes. We work with companies and can provide invoices for corporate orders, decorations, and event services.
What types of balloons do you offer?
We work with latex, foil, bubble, personalised and specialty balloons, as well as balloon bouquets, balloon boxes, arches, garlands and large-scale decorative installations.
Can balloons be personalised?
Yes. Depending on the product, we can add names, messages, branding, colours and other personalised elements.
Can you match a specific colour palette?
Absolutely. Send us your inspiration, brand colours, invitation, moodboard or event concept and we will create a matching palette.
How long do balloons last?
It depends on the type of balloon, filling, environment and temperature. We will recommend the best solution based on when and where your balloons will be used.
Can I order balloons for outdoor events?
Yes, but outdoor installations require special planning because sunlight, temperature, wind and weather can affect balloons. We will advise you on the most suitable setup.
Do you create completely custom balloon installations?
Yes. We design installations specifically for the venue, event concept and available space.
Do you deliver in Budapest?
Yes. We deliver throughout Budapest and the surrounding areas.
Do you deliver outside Budapest?
Yes. Delivery and installation outside Budapest can be arranged individually depending on the location and size of the project.
Can you deliver outside your regular working hours?
Yes. Early-morning, late-evening and other out-of-hours deliveries can be arranged. Availability and any additional delivery costs are discussed individually.
Can you deliver at an exact time?
For events where timing is important, we can arrange an appropriate delivery window. Exact timing depends on the location, order and logistics and should be agreed with our team in advance.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery costs depend on the destination, time, size of the order and whether installation or additional services are required. We confirm the delivery cost before finalising the order.
Can I collect my order myself?
Pickup may be available for selected orders by prior arrangement.
Do you set everything up after delivery?
Yes, when installation is part of the service. For larger decorations and events, our team can deliver, install and prepare the complete setup at the venue.
What personal events do you decorate?
We create decorations for birthdays, anniversaries, baby showers, gender reveals, proposals, engagements, baptisms, graduations, private dinners, family celebrations and many other special occasions.
Can you decorate my home, restaurant or rented venue?
Yes. We work with private homes, restaurants, hotels, event venues and other suitable locations.
Can you help me develop the entire concept?
Yes. You don’t need to arrive with a finished design. Tell us about the occasion, venue, people and atmosphere you want to create, and we can develop the concept with you.
Can you organise more than just balloons?
Definitely. The Balloon is not limited to balloon decoration. Depending on your event, we can coordinate additional décor, furniture, flowers, table styling, backdrops, lighting, signage and other elements.
Do you provide wedding decoration?
Yes. We create both individual decorative elements and complete wedding concepts.
Are balloons appropriate for elegant weddings?
Absolutely. Modern balloon styling can be subtle, sophisticated and integrated with flowers, textiles, lighting and other décor rather than looking like traditional party balloons.
Can you decorate the ceremony and reception?
Yes. We can work with ceremony spaces, receptions, entrances, photo zones, dinner areas, dessert tables and other parts of the wedding.
Can you coordinate flowers and other decorations too?
Yes. Depending on the project, we can build a complete visual concept incorporating balloons, florals and other decorative elements.
Do you organise destination weddings?
Yes. We can work on weddings outside Budapest and on destination projects across Europe. Travel, logistics, installation and local requirements are discussed individually.
How early should we contact you about our wedding?
The earlier the better, particularly for larger weddings and destination events. Contacting us several months in advance gives us more flexibility with planning, suppliers and logistics.
Do you work with companies?
Yes. We provide event decoration and event services for companies, agencies, venues, hotels, restaurants, retail businesses and brands.
What types of corporate events do you work on?
Product launches, conferences, company celebrations, openings, Christmas parties, team events, award ceremonies, exhibitions, press events, brand activations and other corporate occasions.
Can you create decorations using our brand colours?
Yes. We can develop the visual concept around your brand identity, corporate colours and event guidelines.
Can you add our logo or branding?
Yes. Depending on the project, branding can be incorporated into balloons, backdrops, signs, photo areas and other decorative elements.
Can you handle large corporate installations?
Yes. Projects are assessed individually according to the venue, installation requirements, timing and scale.
Can you work directly with our marketing or event agency?
Absolutely. We can work with internal marketing teams, event managers, agencies, venue coordinators and other suppliers.
Do you offer recurring services for businesses?
Yes. We can discuss ongoing cooperation for regular events, seasonal decorations, openings, campaigns and other recurring requirements.
Are you only a balloon decoration company?
No. Balloons are an important part of what we do, but our services can go much further. We can help create and coordinate the complete visual concept and organisation of an event.
Can you organise an entire event?
Yes. Depending on the project, we can assist with concept development, decoration, venue styling, suppliers, entertainment and other elements required to bring the event together.
What other decoration can you provide besides balloons?
Depending on the project, this may include floral décor, backdrops, photo zones, tablescapes, signage, furniture, textiles, lighting and custom decorative elements.
Can you help find suppliers?
Yes. For full event projects we can help coordinate appropriate suppliers and partners.
Can you work with a venue we have already booked?
Of course. We can communicate with your venue regarding access, installation times, technical requirements and other organisational details.
Can you create an event from an inspiration photo or moodboard?
Yes. Inspiration images are very helpful. We can use them to understand your preferred style and create a concept adapted specifically to your venue and event.
Do you only work in Budapest?
No. Budapest is our home base, but our work is not limited to Budapest or even Hungary.
Do you organise events outside Hungary?
Yes. We can organise and decorate private events, weddings and corporate events across Europe.
Which European countries do you work in?
Projects are considered individually rather than being limited to a fixed list of countries. Tell us where your event will take place and we will assess the logistics.
How does a European event work?
Once we understand the location, date and scope of the event, we develop the concept and determine the most efficient way to deliver it. Depending on the project, our team may travel to the venue and/or coordinate with trusted local suppliers.
Are travel and accommodation included?
For destination projects, travel, transportation, accommodation and other logistical costs are calculated separately and clearly agreed before confirmation.
Can you organise a corporate event in another European city?
Yes. We can support corporate projects across Europe, from decoration and branded installations to broader event organisation.
Can I change my order after placing it?
Usually yes, provided production has not progressed too far. Contact us as soon as possible and we will check what can still be changed.
Can I change the delivery time?
We will always try to accommodate changes, but availability depends on our schedule and how close the request is to the delivery date.
What happens if my event date changes?
Contact us as soon as possible. For events and larger projects, rescheduling depends on availability, suppliers, previously ordered materials and the terms agreed for your project.
Can personalised products be cancelled?
Because personalised and custom-made products are created specifically for your order, different cancellation conditions may apply once production has started.
